CONSTANCE, Ky. (AP) - Authorities in northern Kentucky have identified a body pulled from the Ohio River as that of a 40-year-old Virginia resident. The Kentucky Enquirer reports that the body of Paul Wilkinson of Warrenton, Va., was found yesterday afternoon just down river from the Anderson Ferry in Boone County.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -The United Mine Workers of America staged another protest today in St. Louis in a dispute with St. Louis-based Patriot Coal. A spokesman for the union says 12 people were arrested for non-violent civil disobedience.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Transylvania University has accepted the resignation of President R. Owen Williams. It's effective at the end of the 2013-2014 academic year. The faculty took a 68-7 no-confidence vote in Williams on May 24. The same day, trustees took a unanimous vote of confidence in Williams.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear says legislators may need to take a do-over on congressional redistricting that was completed last year. That's because lawmakers who have been battling over legislative boundaries are looking to exclude federal prisoners from Kentucky's population count. The problem is that those prisoners were included when lawmakers passed congressional redistricting.
