NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Los Angeles-based Pinkberry will open its first Nashville store later on Thursday with a free yogurt giveaway.
The frozen yogurt chain's newest store, located at 2306 West End Avenue across from the Vanderbilt University campus, will hold a VIP party and giveaway from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event will include velvet ropes, a pink carpet, music and entertainment.
Guests entering the store will have an opportunity to win prizes on a spin wheel and to sign up to become a Pinkberry Groupie.
Pinkberry, made with real nonfat yogurt and nonfat milk, reinvented the frozen yogurt category when it launched in West Hollywood, California, in January 2005.
Since then, the chain has opened more than 90 stores nationwide.
