
An arrest warrant charging Eric McBroom, 18, with attempted murder was issued late Thursday.NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The search continues late Friday for a Nashville teenager wanted in connection to a shooting Thursday afternoon in south Nashville.
Metro police said Damian Rucker, 20, was shot in the head at close range outside his home on Mt. Pisgah Road and according to detectives, Eric McBroom is responsible.
The investigation shows that McBroom, 18, and Rucker were acquaintances and had been involved in an ongoing dispute.
On Thursday, McBroom and two other men were removing a dog pen from the property when Rucker came outside and exchanged heated words with McBroom.
Witnesses reported that Rucker hit McBroom in the head, after which McBroom pulled a pistol and shot Rucker.
Rucker was last listed in very critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He is known to frequent the south Nashville area.
