NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jeff Rutledge is back in Middle Tennessee. The 14-year NFL veteran and former MBA Head Coach is the new Head Football Coach at Pope John Paul II.
Rutledge won a pair of state titles coaching the Big Red from 2002 to 2007.
He left after that to be quarterbacks coach for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.
In a statement Monday Rutledge said, "I am thrilled to accept the position as head football coach at JPII. The school's football program has developed an outstanding reputation by not only producing great athletes, but also great individuals."
