Police need public's help identifying bank robber

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro police and the FBI are trying to identify the man they believe robbed an Antioch bank late Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, at about 5 p.m., the man approached the teller at the Fifth Third Bank, located at 2326 Murfreesboro Pike, and demanded money at gunpoint.

The suspect then fled on foot.

He is described as being in his 20s, approximately five foot, seven inches tall, with a medium build.

At the time of the robbery, he wore all black clothing and a ski mask.

Police are asking for the public's help.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 232-7500 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
