NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Mid-State authorities are searching for the man who robbed two area convenience stores early Wednesday morning wearing a skeleton mask.
The first place hit was the Daily's convenience store located at 501 Hickory Hills Boulevard in the Whites Creek area of Nashville.
Metro police retrieved surveillance video from the store and say the suspect went into the store's bathroom without wearing the skeleton mask.
He put the mask on, exited the bathroom and committed the robbery.
Police were able to get a good look at the suspect's face on the video before he donned the mask.
Witnesses also saw the robber's vehicle. It is described as a gray Buick Century with Tennessee license plate 931 TDD.
The second store robbed was the Scot Market located at 3545 Tom Austin Highway in Springfield, Robertson County.
Witnesses at the second site also spotted a gray Buick Century.
Police looked up the owner of the vehicle and a photo of the owner matches the description of the person who committed the robberies.
An investigation is ongoing.
No further information was released.
