Titans' Javon Ringer injured during practice

Javon Ringer Javon Ringer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Titans rookie running back Javon Ringer was taken away by ambulance Tuesday afternoon after an injury during practice at Baptist Sports Park in Nashville.

The injury happened during the second to last play of the afternoon and moments before Coach Jeff Fisher addressed the media as he is scheduled to do every Wednesday after practice.

"It could be any number of things and it would be unfair for me to speculate right now," said Fisher.  "He is obviously in some pain."

The 22-year-old Ringer was drafted by the Titans in the fifth round in the 2009 draft.
