On their day off, Titans staying busy in the community

Posted:

The Titans are right now in the middle of their summer workouts and Thursday was a rare day off for the Titans but some members of the team took that as a great chance to get out in the community.

In Franklin, Titans LB David Thornton held his camp at BGA with fellow teammates Stanford Keglar, Fernandy Velasco, Chris Hope and Casey Cramer in attendance.

The camp is serious business for Thornton, who in addition to leading the campers in drills, would also stop the camp at various times and talk to the youngsters, about 150, about making correct choices on and off the field.

Thornton gave every camper a gift bag, and inside, a Bible.

In Bellevue, Cortland Finnegan and Casey Cramer stopped by Nashville Christian School to talk with youngsters about the same thing, doing right of and off the field, and being a perfect citizen.

Over 75 kids turned out to get autographs and their picture taken with the two.
