Bright pink big rig promotes breast cancer awareness

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the past year, a bright pink tractor trailer has been driving around the country promoting breast cancer awareness.

Trucking company Saia partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to kick-off the campaign last year.

The big rig has since visited 34 states, and Nashville is the last stop on the tour.

The pink truck will spend the next week driving around town.

"You hardly ever talk to anyone that doesn't have a family member or friend that's affected in a lot of ways," said Mike Burger with Saia.  "It's something that affects us all."

Saia guarantees a donation of $40,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
